Each villa unit has one assigned trash container labeled with their villa number

Each building has its own trash corral where trash containers are located

Residents must use only their assigned trash container for their trash

Residents must place all trash in trash bags before depositing them into trash containers. NO LOOSE trash may be deposited into the trash containers

Place material in your rollout cart. Loose material will not be collected. If your cart is full, extra material must be put in a bag, box or tied in a bundle and placed next to your rollout cart. These items will be collected on the same day as your rollout cart.

Trash pick up is every WEDNESDAY

Pick up failure contact the city of Cedar Point Town Hall – 252-393-7898

Broken or damaged trash receptacles may result in your trash not being picked up by Waste Management – notify the villa owner or your Property Manager immediately should your assigned trash receptacle become broken

Acceptable trash for the roll out containers means garbage resulting from day-to-day activities of a residence that can be disposed of in sanitary landfills

RECYCLING – Review the items designated for recycling. Place these items in recycling bins. If found in your trash container it may result in the trash service not collecting any of your trash.

All moving boxes must be broken down and stacked for recycle pick up

Filling the Villas community trash corral with boxes and packing material is PROHIBITED.

Discarded mops, brooms, frames, metal bars, lamp frames, etc. must be taken to the Firetower Road or Hibbs Road Solid Waste site by resident

Discarded curtains, tarps, fabrics, and cushions must be taken to the Firetower Road or Hibbs Road Solid Waste site by resident

Discarded electronics must be taken only to the Hibbs Road Solid Waste site by resident

Discarded lamps, shades, paintings, etc. must be taken to the Firetower Road or Hibbs Road Solid Waste site by resident

Discarded batteries, car parts, etc. must be taken to the Firetower Road or Hibbs Road Solid Waste site by resident

Discarded white goods must be taken to the Firetower Road or Hibbs Road Solid Waste site by resident

Discarded paint and hazardous material must be taken to the Firetower Road or Hibbs Road Solid Waste site by resident

Discarded grills must be taken to the Firetower Road or Hibbs Road Solid Waste site by resident

DISCARDED ITEMS MENTIONED ABOVE (and similar items) MAY NOT BE LEFT AT THE TRASH CORRALS IN THE VILLAS. Residents are responsible for carrying such items to Firetower Road or Hibbs Road Solid Waste Site on their on. Such items will not be picked up by the Waste Management trash pick up on Wednesdays.
